So I have recently purchased a m995 Sako .300wm with iron sights.
Anyone know of bases and rings that would allow the use of a scope and still be able to detach the scope to use the open sights?
Will anything other than Sako bases work? Or do I have to purchase Sako bases? And will other rings fit on the Sako bases?
Thanks for any info

Leupold or Redfield make dovetail bases for it. Don't know if you can still use your open sights thou.

you should be able to find some Sako mounts that allow for reasonably quick detatch. I have a NEAR rail on my M995 and it is very low profile while still being a 20moa rail. If I had irons, I'd be able to see them clearly over the rail.
