Rex is a very down to earth guy. Very intelligent. We do some business together. He uses our targets for all his classes.

I was told it's the same but the stac are made in Philippines, the s3 in Japan

It's good but not in the same league of the S3LR. My buddy has one I'd say it's comparable to a gen1 Vortex Viper pst. I've seen him shoot 1lb hodgons bottles at 1000 yards with it. The tracking is dang good.

Good to know, I've got a few S3's and a vortex viper pst. Sounds like a good scope for its price range and would work well for my plinking .223
