Scope Rings

Howdy! I just traded for an Athlon Cronus BTR 4.5-29x56 and I am looking for suggestions on what scope rings to get for it to mount it on my Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor.

I definitely don'tneed the latest and greatest, I'm just looking for something that's going to get the job done. I am hoping to keep it under $100 if possible.

Seekins are the best 'for the money', IMO.

From what I am reading I think I agree with you, and will probably go with them. Any idea what height I would want to go with?

Depending on your barrel size, lows should work. This from Glen Seekins;


34mm...
50mm objective - lows will work all the time
56mm objective - lows < sendero or #5 contour Sometimes lows will fit number 7 contour barrels, but it depends on how long the shank is after the smith installed it.
Highs for sure anything larger than #7
