Calling out any owners/experts that can recommend the proper ring height for a NF NXS 56mm. I still havent decided on a scope yet but I have narrowed it down to the NF NXS 5.5-22X56mm 1/10 mil Mildot zero stop and the Vortex Razor HD 5-20X50mm EBR-3. Both seem to be quite equal but the VIP warranty on the vortex is really grabing my attention. On the other hand though I want a scope that I will not have to use the warranty. The NF is tried and true. I have read countless forums and cannot seem to find that leading edge that will help my decision. Please any info to help my troubled decision will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Try calling the companies customer service directly. See which company treats you better. I bet that will help you make the decision a little easier. I have never called Nightforce customer service before. However I called vortex to ask some questions about a future purchase, and WOW!!! They have to be the nicest people in the world. I have always said that there are business people, and there are people that suck at business. Well, vortex is running a fine business. They have NICE, KNOWLEDGEABLE people that deal with you, and this means a lot to me. Try calling them both and aking questions about your future purchase. I bet after the phone calls, you will know which company is right for you.

You make an excellent point. I will take your advise and give them a direct call to the vendors then try a third part source who sells both. lightbulb
