Scope ring height

Going to put a 50mm scope with a 30mm tube on a model 700. Looking at TPS rings and wondering what height I'm going to need. Chart on Midway says I need low rings, but I feel like I need mediums.

While we're at it, what are y'alls thoughts on the TPS rings?

Depends on the base you have. Most 20MOA bases will work OK with the low rings and 50mm objective.

Most of the charts I read for the 700 and 50 optic say high rings with the standard base for a 30mm tube scope. I used a weaver high set with the standard base

and they fit perfect. with a 20 moa base low to med will work fine.
