scope recoil limits

i have a elite 3200 2.5x10 scope and was wondering if anyone knows of the limitations on the scope for recoil, i had it mounted on my .378 wheatherby and it shook the insides apart with in about 200 rounds?

Most scope manufactures have a very good warranty. Call Bushnell and ask.
