Scope for a Chiappa (Taylor's) Alaskan

Hi Folks,

Got a .44Mag 20" Chiappa (Taylor's) Alaskan coming.

It's based on a 92 so if to be scoped needs to be forward mounted (Long eye relief or Scout Scope style I guess).

Any recommendations? Leupold 1.5-5x33 VXR sounds like it might work but would welcome recommendations

Well folks, tried the VXR. Eye relief rather short (6-6.9") so probably going to get the 2.5x28 Leupold Scout scope instead (9-17")
