So here recently I've been thinking of adding a Sako to my collection, the rifle will be my main deer rifle and I'd prefer it to be chambered in 300 wsm. I've never owned nor handled a sako as I've primarily hunted with my Remington 700 mountain rifle in 30-06. Nothing against my mountain rifle as I enjoy carrying it, but it leaves me wanting "more" in the accuracy department. It shoots 1 inch at 100 yards on a good day. I've loaded for it, tried numerous factory offerings, and yet I'm still not completely satisfied. I understand it's not a bench rest rifle. Can any Sako 85 owners give me some feedback on what makes them worth the 1700$ price tag? Thanks in advance!
