We just received a delivery from S&B of their Summit 2.5-10x40 Riflescopes in all three of the available reticles.

The first Schmidt & Bender built on a one-inch tube, the Summit was created specfically for American-style hunting. At just 16.8 ounces, it is one of the lightest scopes we've ever produced...low and streamlined, perfect for a mountain rifle, with a magnification range comfortable from thick timber to the high plains.

The reticle is located in the second focal plane, meaning its size does not change across the entire magnification range. A wide field of view (over 40 feet at 2.5x at 100 yards) will allow plenty of lead on running game. Almost four inches of eye relief--combined with the rugged construction for which Schmidt & Bender is famous--make the Summit particularly appropriate for mounting on magnum and large-caliber rifles.

If you've hesitated purchasing the finest in European optics because you just couldn't get used to the idea of a 30mm tube, the Summit allows to you to easily retrofit your favorite hunting rifle by--in many cases--using existing one-inch rings.

The Summit. No more excuses not to hunt with the finest optics on earth.
