Scam? Just being cautious

Posted a WTB scope thread. Get a kindly contact me on my mail from bookmaster899. Only a member for 1 month no trades. Says he has exactly what I am looking for for sale. But it's nowhere on here. Suspicious how do u know if it's a scam if they have no history and sentence English is also not perfect. Easy enough to read what I'm looking for. Thanks for any thoughts

It's a scam. Ask him to private message you a picture of the item with his username and the date wrote on a piece of paper in the photo beside of the item. If they want you to pay in PayPal family and friends only, it probably a scam. If he can't contact you via private message here on LRH, it's probably a scam. If he hasn't had some content on here with some long-range educated questions or statements, then he's probably on here just to scam. Don't chance it.

Who the heck in America uses "kindly" as an intro to any sentence . Sounds like the guy hasn't known how to speak English for very long.

"I" do. Kindly, please, thank, etc., are magic words esp. when dealing with commanders (my primary customers for the last 34 years). I was raised with these magic words.

Usually on these forum people PM first and then if everything seems fine exchange phone numbers. I've been seeing a lot of cherry items for extremely low prices and people ask for a email. Kindly take this with a grain of salt.
