Testing the waters here.... I have a .243 built on a Savage 10 action (small shank) that was a new take-off. Barrel is Criterion, Light Varmint, 24" stainless, 1:10 twist, accu-trigger. Have the beefy criterion recoil lug, and stainless criterion barrel nut. Stock is a bell and carlson M40 that was purchased new. Action has been bedded by yours truly. Includes factory bottom metal and the good quality savage factory metal DBM, not the cheapie plastic savage DBM. Rifle has been to the range twice, second time was shooting reloads @ 7/8" five shots with first load trial. Total round count is 80, everything is pretty much brand spankin' new on it. I need to free up some funds for a different build.
