Dose anyone have a savage model 93 in 17 hmr i have a freind that wants to buy one but wants to know if hes getting a *** or not. any help would be enlightening!
I have one. It shoots one hole at 50 yds. At 100 yds it would easily shoot under moa if not for the wind. We seldom have a still enough day to test that here. As for reliability, mine has never failed, but always remember, it doesn't matter who makes a gun, you can always find someone that got a lemon. They are sensitive to being cleaned until you get them broken in well. If your accuracy starts to drop off, clean it good and start again. Every time you do this, you get a few more rounds until its needed again. So my advice is, go ahead and buy it and have a ball, they are some kind of fun to shoot..............especially at gophers!!

It's certainly worth the money, but it is NOT a coyote gun under any circumstances..........especially at 200 yds. Oh, he can certainly hit them ok, but that little pill will only put em into overdrive unless he head shoots them, and then I'm not too sure. Factory ammo is all you can shoot, since they cannot be reloaded.
