Does anyone know what type of bullet the savage model 111 LRH in 7mag is throated for?

How far are you shooting out too?

I would imagine that is a SAAMI chamber and so will work with any of the popular bullets up to 168/180 berger. Do you have one or are you thinking about buying one? Check with Savage.

about 450 but that not to normal the rifle is setup for deer hunting and here in south its hard to find long range

I am looking at buying one, I want to shoot the Berger vld. I need to just call savage, I was thinking someone had some success with a certain bullet and I could start somewhere.
