Hey Y'all,
Bought a new savage .30-06 with the metal baseplate detachable mag
Factory mag catch did not let the last round in mag feed, went nose down and jammed.
I fixed this by getting a couple millimeters of stainless bar tig welded onto the catch
I did the fitting.
Now the mag seats and latches, and it feeds the last round,
BUT the very top of the mag is barely grazed by the bolt as the action is worked.
Should I take off a LITTLE bit more or leave it?
