Took this gun on trade about 10yrs ago and has only sat in safe. I just don't have time for it alongside other projects and already have the 6mm/243 diameter covered.
Savage Stainless Action made after 11/1995 but before 2001 based on serial number research. It's a long action based on the length between the action screws but I'll be the first to admit I'm no Savage or firearms expert.
6BR SS barrel - unknown manufacturer and round count as it was taken on trade over 10yrs ago - it appears good condition but I'm not a gunsmith - I'm guessing this is around a 12 twist because the prior owner who loaded for it was shooting 70gr flat base bullets and that appears to be a popular twist for that weigh of fb bullet. I have not removed the barrel from the action but I can see the 6BR chambering stamp just can't tell who made it.
one inch rings installed.
It is bedded into a stock that has a flat forend - probably designed for benchrest but maker is not known to me and it's painted black.
I think the trigger was worked on, it's pretty decent but appears factory not aftermarket.
Comes with approx 80 Lapua stamped brass and 7 loaded rounds which I will pull the bullets from and ship both the brass and bullet but not powder.
Asking $675 net to me for everything plus actual shipping cost to your FFL. Open to offers and trades. More pics of whatever you like on request.
