savage conversion 308 win to 6.5 creedmoor

I've tried to find the answer but can't can you still use the 308 bolt for shooting the the 6.5 Creedmoor or do you have to buy a new one. Anyone with insight I thank you so much.

They both use a standard bolt face, so you should be just fine doing a simple barrel swap.

Better do a 260 and not take any chances.

Thanks guys I have been pretty set on the 6.5 for a while but I had given thought to the 260 sometimes "adult" decisions stink.
