Haven't really gotten into the long range shooting but would like to.. I do reload most of my ammo. Heres the problem.. I have a Savage 270wsm in the stainless weather warrior. Picked up some Berger 140 VLD hunting bullets and some Magpro powder for reloading. Started with 70 gr. of powder and tried the Berger method of going with the bullet .020, .040, .060, .080, .100 off the lands. The .020 seemed to work the best. The first shot was usually good. The following shots were usually to the right and would not group. Never could get it to shoot good. This gun is straight out of the box. Checked every thing for tightness. Scope is a Burris Fullfield II 4.5-14 multiplex. I did shoot some factory Failsafe 140's in it and they shot pretty well. Under an 1.00 MOA. Not sure which direction to turn. Any help would be great.
