This is another rifle i put together. Disclaimer I Stress I am not a gunsmith. I have assembled many savages but if you buy it, please Take it to a competent smith to have it checked.
Savage short action. Top release. Centerfeed. Bolt was replaced with a fluted bolt from a savage lightweight hunter.
Barrel is 26" fluted Wilson from ragged holes barrels. I sent out and had threaded 5-8 x 24. Barrel is stainless 1-9 twist.
Precison barrel nut was used
Barreled action was sent out for gunkote in matte black.
I have put zero rounds down this rifle. Thinning the herd. Pains me to sell this.
Action was 325
Barrel was 325
Threading was 75
Coating was 100
Fluted bolt was 100
Nut was 30
Thread cap 10
