Gun is a little beat up but it's the perfect deer rifle or truck gun. Super accurate really likes 130gr interlock. But shoots everything I've tried under an inch at 100 yards. Was going to use the action for a build but it's just been taking up room for too long. ~300 plus actual shipping cost.

I've really come to appreciate a savage for high volume load development and modularity at the range when i want to save wear and tear on my nicer hunting rigs. Usually pretty easy to find similar twist and length barrels to test new (to me) powders and bullets before fine tuning for precision.

I agree buddy. I've got a good amount of custom rifles. But I still buy 300 dollar savages at the pawnshops just to have something new to load for. This was going to be a 280ai but shot to good as a 270. Some of the most accurate rifles I've loaded for are savage axis.

I've built a ton of guns on these actions they are great for the money. Just selling it for what I've got in it
It seems Cabelas runs a sale annually that makes it hard to not pick one or two up. You can either harvest them or shoot them without a lot of thought. I think they have 110 tactical's for $500, Storms for $700 right now. I was surprised they even had some magnum calibers.
Congrats on the sale, sounds like a good deal all around.
