This rifle was my first love in long range, but it's been sitting for a couple years by no fault of its own since I've moved on to a couple "snazzier" custom rifles.
This rifle is a tack driver, shooting 140 Berger VLDs! Maybe 300-350 rounds through it. Easily 700 rounds or more left of barrel life and the barrel would be very easy to replace with a prefit down the road, though most hunters would never put enough rounds through to burn one out.
I have a load developed and will provide the load specs, whatever Lapua brass I have left (probably around 100 rounds), and a complete ballistic package with muzzle velocities, BCs I use and everything to make it essentially a turn-key package once you get your scope mounted. I also have a couple scopes kicking around that I'd be willing to consider mounting up and sending over completely ready to shoot if you're looking for a complete package.
I also have a set of Redding Competition bushing reloading dies worth $250 I'd prefer to include with it and an SKB hard case that would be an option. A Thunderbeast suppressor mount brake is currently mounted ($125 value), but I'll also include the original tunable brake that came on the rifle.
This rifle is in great condition and very well cared for. No rust, no real peeling of the coating on the stock that these rifles are somewhat known for. A few scratches on the stock from normal use (see photos). I've done all the work to make this thing a true long range performer and it's proven itself. I took a mountain goat in Utah a few years back with it at 830 yards with several other kills under its belt.
What I'd like to include with the rifle and original values:
Savage Long Range Hunter 6.5x284 Norma: $979 (MSRP is actually $1119, but seems to be a few going for closer to $800)
Redding Competition 3 Die Set: $250
Thunderbeast suppressor brake: $125
Lapua brass (2-3 firings): $140
SKB hard case: $200
Talley 30mm Rings: $50
Looking to sell it all for $1050
