Awesome Sako Garcia. Varmint model with beavertail forend & heavier barrel than sporter model.
23.5" barrel.
Wood is almost perfect-a few light nicks on bottom of butt stock.
Custom 1# trigger.
Tiny frame Vixen model in 222.
Sako Old style rings.
Leupold 10x target (look at those turrets !) Fine-ish duplex- clear.

SCOOP -- was my Grandfathers ultimate woodchuck Rifle -living in Brooklyn NY we took the 2 hr ride upstate to the Catskills -covered in farmland with plenty of varmints in mid seventies. He only took this out on occasion-we used plenty of others-this one was rarely shot and well taken care of. I've had it for years and never shot it since-something about a beautiful quality wood rifle.
$2350

I have a sako vixen delux in 222 rem. I had the opportunity to purchase a second one and for what can only be described as an act of sheer stupidity, I didn't do it. Every time I see a sako vixen, I think about it and immediately start thinking about and regretting that decision. Do not hesitate or pass up as rifles like these are few and far between.

I have a .222, built on a B.S.A. small Martini action, with a heavy Hart stainless barrel. I LOVE that cartridge! I've wanted a bolt gun in the "triple duce" for years. Now, if those lottery tickets would only produce....

Is this a single shot like the 6ppc and 22ppcc that Sako made?

Free bump for an outstanding looking rifle!

A repeater, 6 in the mag one in the pipe.

Beautiful rifle, one of my all time favorite production rifles and probably my favorite action and cartridge. Being your grandpa's old rifle you may change your mind and just keep it, might avoid some regret by doing so.

I have the sporter version of the same rifle, I always lusted after them growing up in the late 70s and early 80s. Good luck with the sale!
