With the older sako L691 action. What is the best way to mount a large scope with a 30mm tube.
Would I be better off with standard type mounts and bases or should I go for a picatinny rail and rings to suit?
I have looked at a USoptics picatinny rail but at $130 they are expensive and I would still need to retap my threads.
Any sugestions welcome.
