I bought this for a "friend" that wanted it, from a friend that needed to sell it. I got stuck with it and don't really need it. I just got two custom hunting rigs from GAP, so I'm selling this gorgeous beast. It is an 85 Classic in .270win that was purchased new from the Beretta Gallery in Dallas. Apparently these have a little nicer wood than a typical Sako, and can only be found at a Beretta Gallery store. The gun is essentially new, and I can't find a single flaw. It has less than fifty rounds down the tube and shoots very well. The wood on this thing is stunning, and I've seriously thought about keeping it, but my safe is overflowing. I'm selling it as a turn-key package, so it's ready to hunt.
Here is a list of what he paid for the adds and options:
Rifle- $2,200
Leupold VXII-L 4.5-14X50 illuminated B&C reticle- $1,100
Optilock Ring Mounts- $175
Vais muzzle brake installed- $250
Harris swivel bipod with notched legs- $100
Pelican 1750 hard case with custom foam- $275
Tipton carbon fiber rod and various jags/brushes- $50
Custom Lucas cleaning rod guide- $60
If you add all of that up, the total is over $4,200, and everything is pretty much new. I'd like to get $3,350. I'm in Dallas, so a FTF deal would be great, but I will ship to an FFL. I will entertain trades, but I like the good stuff. High end 1911's, high end AR-10's, AR-15's, Rolex watches... doesn't hurt to ask.
