Sako 75 SS 7mm RUM

Does anyone know what the twist of the barrel and what is the heaviest bullet the sako 75 will stabilize.

Hi i think they have a 10 twist if they do it will stabalise any projectile up to 220gr it may stabalise the 240gr Sierra but that would be a gamble.

In the 7mm calibers generaly they all come from the factory with a 1-9 or 1-9.5 twist or at least all the ones I've ever seen from about 5 differant makers.
should be good up to the 168gr class match bullets.

Sorry i stuffed up. I was thinking 30 cal. In 7mm they should stabalise the 175gr 7mm MatchKings fine in the larget 7mm's the 10 twist will work so if they have a faster twist than that they are good to go. I think they have a 9.5 twist.
