Does the 11-87 chamber 3 inch shells?

Shotgun only chamber 2 3/4.
Rifle shoots well. I have shot it in 2 years and can remember an exact group and 5/8 x 24 thread pitch. I had a smith in PA thread it and install the AAC quick attach for a 762sd.
