Who painted the stock? I dont see that color as an option on the HS website.
I painted it. The colors I used: black base with desert tan & leather brown are what has been referred to as a desert night pattern. It's cleared with flat clear and then webbed last. Webbing it last gives it an extra grippy surface. I've painted several stocks in that pattern. It's more scratch resistant than the factory bell & Carlson paint and as tough as the factory hs paint. If you do scratch the paint in that pattern you will never know it. The first two pictures has the same model stock as this one I have for sale

You probably won't find a new hs stock in that model either. It's just right for a 20"-24" barrel. I have put a 26" in a stock like that also and it turned out nice but the fore end on most of the hs stocks seem way to long for a barrel 22" or less.
