S.Armory Ballistic Reticle and 308 win

I have a Springfield Armory scope with a 7.62 nato ballistic reticle.
In the manual is writed only that the reticle is adjusted for 7.62 nato round until 1000 yards. And no more.
Anyone knows if the 7.62 military round are the M118 308 long range ammo with a 173 grn bullets ( sierra?) at 2600 ( or 2580 ) fps ? I would try to reload a duplicate of this cartribges..

The reticle is for the 168 SMK at 2600.

It will with other bullets as long as they have the same BC at the same velocity.
