Rock-Ola Type 1 M1 Carbine, S/N 1742513, 1943 Production Date. This has Arsenal Rebuild marks, AAW, on the stock.
The following parts are marked Rock-Ola:
Receiver
Bolt
Barrel
Gas Piston
Front Site
Slide
I think the Barrel Band maybe Rock-Ola, (no guarantees) but the Sling Mount is marked Quality Hardware.
The Walnut Stock is Marked M-U for Marlin - Underwood. The stock has two Ps on the wrist and with a faint inspector's marked and Cross Cannons on the right side. It is marked AAW on the left side which means it was rebuilt in Augusta Arsenal and inspected by 'W'.
The Walnut Handguard is marked RSG for Saginaw and has two rivets.
The recoil plate is marked W for Winchester. The Trigger Group is Inland and the Rear Site is Milled and marked Inland.
The Sling is C style but is frayed and should be replaced.
The bore is Great with very strong rifling.
Comes with one New Korean 15 round magazine, two Inland magazines in a double web M1 Carbine Magazine pouch marked 'CAMLIN FASHION OF AMERICA, INC. 1943'.
I did not clean this M1 Carbine. What you see is what you get.
Price is $2,095.00 plus shipping and insurance to an FFL or C&R only. If your dealer will not accept a shipped firearm from me then there will be an additional cost of $50.00 to go through a dealer at my end.
