Rings and base?

I just bought a sightron sii 6-24 x50 lrmd to put on my 7mm-08 and I am looking at rings and bases. I would like to be able to shoot out to 800 or more yards and I was wondering if I need a 20moa base or not and what rings you guys recommend. I am not totally sure what the point of 20moa base would be either so if you could shed some light on that as well. Thanks guys!

PS I shoot a Browning a bolt so do i need a two piece base? Where can I find these?

Go ahead and just get standard two piece bases and then buy Burris Signature rings. You can buy the plastic ring inserts that can adjust from 5 to 20 MOA. I have used them on a few guns and absolutely loved them. Most guys on here agree that they are awesome rings. I think that will be your best solution and will probably be the cheapest too
