Ring height ????

OK fellas. Building a long range target gun. It will wear a 40 MOA base and I will mount a 5.5x22x50MM NF on it. What size [height] rings do I need????? Thank you


Also can you recommend what rings to get (make that is)

I'd go with NF Ultralite rings. As far as height I would mount scope low...hard for me to tell you what height rings you need. NF 5 sizes .885 to 1.375.
