Ring /base sugestions

Looking hard at the VX3i 4x14 x50 and the new ER 5 3x15 x56
mainly deer hunting and some working up loads. Mainly wondering which one would be better @ low light situations. Any info would be greatly appreciated

So I ordered an Leica 3 X15 today. My 700 mill spec 308 currently has a one in. VX lll 4.5x14 50mm
So now I need a combo for the 30 mm tube and 56 mm bell.
I realize there are a lot of options but I am on a budget after the scope purchase.
