45/70, 375 H&H, 300 Win mag, 300 WSM, 30-06, 308 Win, 30-30, 7mm Rem mag, 25-06, 6mm Rem, 223, 204 Ruger and of course the 22 long rifle!

Don't have all the rifles anymore, but a pretty good cross-section of rifle cartridges I think. I'm sure I picked up somebody else's rifle and hunted with it a time or two, but these are the rifle cartridges for owned and used for hunting.

How 'bout you?

Regards, Guy

There is a project rifle..I want to work on...45-105 Remington Special necked that will live in a period 1867 Remington marked rolling block..32 inch part octagon to round barrel Vernier Soule on the tang and an even larger Soule sight mounted on the butt stock for extreme long range shooting...

Rifles I still have, and try to hunt with as much as I can, either myself or loaning them out, I fell bad when a hunting rifle just sits in the safe!
45/70, 338 WM, 30-06, 28 Nos, 270 Win, 264 WM, 6.5CM, 6 CM, 243 Win, 223, 22 Hornet, 204 Ruger.

That's a good collection to have amassed over the years.

I believe there are two kinds of gun people, those who will never sell a gun and those who will never sell a gun....until something else catches their eye. You and I are in the latter group.

I currently have the following and am very happy with it, 22lr x 2, 17hmr, 22-250ai (simi-custom), 243 (mod 788 heirloom gift from dad), 65 creed (full custom) and a very accurate 1895 Marlin in 45-70. Also 4 shotguns and 5 pistols 3 of which are heirlooms from dad and gramps.

The above all have something special to me and are pretty safe. Heirlooms are certainly safe and will be passed down along with anything I inherit from dad when his time comes.

I'm planning a custom lightweight 300wm after the first of the year and would like to do a 280 Sherman but it will be a couple of years down the road.

I've had; 223, 22-250, 240weebee, 25-06, 260 rem, 280, 30-30, 308, 30-06 x 2, 7rm x 3, 300wm and a 300rum.

223, 22-250, 243, 243 AI, 257 Roberts, 257 AI, 270, 30-06(never fired), 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5-284, 280 AI, 28 Nosler and 375 ruger. Forgot about the little ones 22 LR, 22 magnum and 17 HMR

It would take considerable time to list and assemble a picture of all of the cartridges for rifles I shoot & load for... So, I'm just going to settle for a few of the convenient and most common ones that I shoot the most, and that I have right here at the bench... Also, I decided not to add the .22 LR and .17 HMR, since I'm sure we're all aware of what those look like by now.

Left-toRight...

5.56, .300 BLK, 6.5 Grendel, .308 Win, .25-06 AI, .30-06 AI, .257 Wby, 7mm RemMag, .300 WinMag, .300 Ackley, 7mm STW

What is NOT pictured for rifle cartridges (because I keep them at a different location) is 7mm-08, .30-30 Win, .44 RemMag, .45-70, and .444 Marlin.
