I understand how to read a lot number. I am pointing out that one can has a lot number and the other one does not.But for Those that don't understand the lot number this might be helpful.

The bigger question is, how did you find any Retumbo? I'm up in Canada and I'm holding onto my last few grams of the stuff.

Hang tight. I just got a pound at my local gun shop here in Pennsylvania. He had 5 pounds on the shelf. It is slowly coming back. Granted it was expensive, I can't shoot without it.

For what it's worth, it was $55 a pound, doesn't sound so bad now that I read someone else is paying $80 a pound...lol.

I was absolutely stunned that people who play around assembling their own ammunition had as much trouble figuring this little fact out as they seem to. The 1st container was there as a reference to show people what the law number looked like and the 2nd container clearly was missing the lot number.

Scanned my H4350. Said hold on to this as if it were gold. wondering what message we come from my H1000, Varget or my StaBall 6.5?
