Guys, I am frustrated here. I had the old max load of 88gr H1000 and the 200rg SMK at the lands into 1/4moa. I decided I wanted the 216gr clinch river and retumbo to give them a run due to a higher load density and more uniform meplats. Last weekend at 87gr retumbo and the 216gr I got a nice .3xx moa at 200yds. This weekend I ran up to 91gr's and the rifle went to hell. We are talking a PacNor select match 30" 1:10 on a trued action with 1/4" recoil lug pillar bedded in a Mcmillan tooley with an 8-32x NXS. This tube has now exactly 321rnds down it (read as NOT ERODED) I am thinking there was some compressed carbon fouling, so much soaking and patching has been taking place for about 4 days.
What if any loads have you guy found to be best with retumbo and the 210-220gr pills?
My chamber is TIGHT,...like I said the 200gr SMK and H1000 will only take a max of 88gr.
