removeable cheek rest ?

Good luck with velcro being strong enough to support 1" elevation. To be able to get that kind of structure there has to be a solid base. I have a few ideas on how to acheive this with holes that are very shallow, but you have to be open to drilling holes period. You will not find a solution to this problem with velcro. A picture would be worth a thousand words.

looks like lead time on what works will not get here in time.
I will have to work on a temp solution.
thanks

If you want you could fabricate a cheek weld plate similar to what used on my stock but instead of the two lock screws you could try using Industrial grade velcro that you can get a hardware store. Just an Idea the factory plate works great on mine.

Good Luck

I have built similar to Iamosoh's with aluminum plate. Worked very well. Even used 2 small screws to mount it and it never moved. This was on the original stock for my savage 112 37XC build. Can take pics if your interested. Needed a much higher cheek weld with 70 moa in the rail

Man there are ways that cost 30 bucks, and 30 minutes of work. If you would tell us what stock youre working on and post some pictures we could throw you some ideas. Bed a 1/4 hex head bolt fitted with 2 nuts into 2 holes that are 1/2 in diameter and 5/8 inch deep with devcon. Let set 24 hours, remove hex head bolt replace with pan head. Cut pillars out of something, drill 2 1/4inch holes in something round cut in half thats the right diameter for correct cheek weld and install. Thats how this picture was done, but I cut the cheek cause I like that look better.
