For sale is an orginal Remington 700 Classic in the excellent .270 caliber. Remington started this series in 1978 in the 270 caliber, 1979 in 30--06 and 1980 in 7mm Rm. in 1981 they officially started to name them the Classic series and released one a year in a unique caliber.
This rifle has been hunted with and has harvested many nice heads of game. That what they are built for! Comes with a Leupold VX-III 4.5-14 x40mm in Leupold mounts. $750 for the rifle and scope. Will remove scope if you have one and deduct $300 from the price. I have handloaded for 30 years and this rifle loves 130 gr. Nosler Accubonds or BT's.
Ask any questions you have. Can email or text pictures but please be serious, (and will post a few when I get back home later this week). No trades, and price is firm until you have looked at it in person with cash in your hand, or we've had a sincere phone conversation.
