****SOLD***** 6mm Bench Rest, probably the most accurate cartridge one can shoot.
* 22" Custom shop barrel. Little heavier than Remington's magnum contour.
* 1x8" twist
* .272 neck (standard factory)
* 700 receiver squared/blue printed.
* 40x trigger
* Bolt fluted--handle skeletonized.--> Twisted Barrel Gunsmithing
* Muzzle break 5/8 x 24" -----------> Twisted barrel Gunsmithing
* All metal Remington's Duracoat. Slight worn near break to match bluing.
* Custom Shop bottom metal--steel & nice.
* McMillan McWoody Mountain Rifle style stock--very light skim bed. 12.5" LOP
* Swarovski Z5 5-25x52mm w/ ballistic turret--nice medium duplex.
* Talley Steel fixed rings & bases.
Started out in an HS Precision target stock perfectly glass bedded w/o break. This was from the Custom Shop Rifle shot group pictured. I wanted more of a slick, light, deer rifle. Hence the Mcmillan. Short LOP because I dress like the Michelin Tire Man to keep warm and a normal stock I can't reach the grip. Awesome for young hunters. I shoot 105 Berger VLD at 2650FPS and whacked a few nice bucks in the 4-500yd range. Very accurate--1/2" at 200yds. About .223 felt recoil. SHoots even better Nosler BT's. HSP stock is sold 'cause I never thought I'd be selling this. Finicky in feeding--it works when you stack 'em just right. Shot about 80-90 times. Rifle about 5 years old.
$2650 I can separate if I have to.
