SOLD/EXPIRED Remington 700

For sale: a very nice early Remington 700 barreled action chambered in the original long range cartridge. No prefix 7 digit serial number. Pre-warning barrel with date code DY, correlating to Sept.1974. The safety locks the bolt. You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer one. Couple of very small scratches, blueing is deep and shiny with no rust. No rear sight, and holes are closed with the tiny screws. Bolt jeweling shows little wear. I was saving this one but unexpected expenses have arisen and I won't see it to completion. It is a rare and beautiful example of quality from the era that Remington is known for.
