I am not the original owner but the barrel shows little if any wear to my eye.

The accuracy is good. I have only shot factory ammo and my experience is that it is fully capable of MOA accuracy with good factory ammo and so likely very good accuracy with load development. In all, it seems to be much in line with the reputation for accuracy of the first generation Senderos.

The very first Senderos were all blued. This one appears to be stainless (my personal favorite) but I would have called it a Gen2.

There was a small run of Sendero "Specials" in those early years too which only had 24" barrels. I bought one for my hunting buddy. All great rifles IMO.

You are correct. This is a sfII palm swell stock, fluted stainless.
This is a Gen1 (7mm)

Appears to be a orig Sendero SF action /barrel but in a Sendero SF II stock

nice looking gun

Yes, I believe this to be a first generation stainless fluted (SF, not SFII). Per description update, I believe serial number is indicative of a 1998 manufacture.

Up.

Never replied to the forum on question on trades - I'm primarily interested in replacing it with a 280AI medium or lightweight sporter. A similar 300WM (700 or similar) or 300WBY (MkV) might also be of interest. I might also consider a Beretta to similar or higher end O/U with at least 30" barrels. I am generally trying to keep the barrel count in my safe flat and upgrade (as well as fill in gaps with current stock of 243, 6.5CM, 270WIN, 270WBY, 7RM, 300WSM) so I can add cash for the right trade. Custom 700's, LAW, Christensen, Kimber, Tikka, Sako, etc. are all of interest in terms of rifle makes for trade interest.
