I have a Short action 700 that has the 223 bolt face and mag box follower. I want to make this rifle use 473 case head diameter rounds, in this immediate case a 7-08. I think but am not sure I can change out the bolt, mag box, follower and barrel to so this. My real question is the feed ramp on this action different than that on a rifle that came in say 308? I have two mountain rifle barrels one in 7-08 and one in 308 to use.
