Going to list this again. 1978 Remington 40X chambered in 7mm Remington magnum, original barreled action, 142 round count, shoots between .25" and .5" with its favorite load, depending on the day. It likes 162 ELDMS @ .020" off, over 7828ssc, and CCI 250s, in Nosler brass. Not sure how it likes anything else, this match-up of components is all I've tried, since it shot so good. It has a Harrells tactical brake blended, Jewell hvr top safety, Nightforce 20moa base, and a Richard Franklin varmint stock walnut over maple. I'd like to get 1500.00 shipped to ffl holder.
I would also consider trades on components, quality glass, barrel blanks 22/30 cal preferably, possibly other rifles (small chamberings and wildcats preferred)
Trying to move this one, just don't need a second 7mm remington magnum, on top of a 7mm Wby, 7-300wm, and a 284. I have too many powder hungry cartridges now.
The rifle is glass bedded as well, it was done the same time the brake was installed. The stock, trigger, base, brake and work are actually worth what I'm asking for the rifle. Let me know if you have questions or offers, thanks.
