28 nosler built on a new Remington 700 sps action. 26in 1/8 twist ss fluted barrel threaded with a cap. The barrel is .665 at the muzzle. Setting in a new McMillan game scout with the edge fill.
I purchased the barrel used and had my Smith cut it off and recambered it with a nosler spec reamer. I can't remember what brand the barrel is for sure. With factory hornady 162 eldx ammo the rifle shot less than 1in at 100 yards before I bedded the action to the stock. I haven't had a chance to shoot the rifle since I bedded it.
The triger is a factory Remington that has been set to 2lbs and is very nice. On the bathroom scale the rifle with no scope weighed just over 7lbs
Since the build the rifle has had 11 rounds shot through it. I have another 28nosler so this ones on the block. $1350 or trade on other rifles, or scopes.
