This is the first I've heard of this. A quick search didn't reveal a thread on it yet... Whaddaya all think?

Well.... I don't like the idea but technology will move forward no matter what we think or do. The Chinese will reverse engineer it and make it affordable in short order and then the forests, plains and mountains will be full of long range hunters that were shooting their handguns sideways yesterday and they'll be hitting what they aim for at ranges that we have been struggling to shoot accurately at for many many years already.

The times they are a'changin'

Obviously it went nowhere. Limiting its use to 500 yards probably didn't help. And the cost of $5,000 is more than a little crazy. Toss in a weight of 58 ounces (3.6 lbs!) and you have to wonder who the target audience was.

The Burris Eliminator scopes do most of the same things but at a fraction of the price and people still haven't really warmed up to them after all these years.

Oops, bad math there. 15 years ago 😂🫣

You are correct on the eliminators. Super cool, but I think most "serious" long range shooters prefer to dial things in by hand vs rely on a computer in their scope. Seems that it has its place, I guess. Might be fun for prairie dogs, etc
