I have a handful of nice guns that I bought from a local guy that no longer are used. The guy took very good care of them.

1. Rem 870 super Mag, 12ga, 28", 2-3/4"- 3-1/2" chamber wood stock. Guess mid 90s production. Did have a rubber pad on the back and that's why the butt stock looks weird. A little oil finish would clean up up pretty good I think.

I took 8 seconds and added a little stock oil finish to the stock and you can't even tell it was blemished before. Still a very mild stain from the pad cover but looks very nice.
