Howdy ,

Can one or some of you gunsmith folks tell me where and what to polish on a 700 trigger -it is close to being "good enough" but i like tinkering with this kind of stuff.
I have adjusted triggers and did bedding work etc, and will do this work incrementally so i don't go "too far".
I'm a construction worker and money is tight right now so i can't just send Mr. Shilen a money order for $110.
Thanks for any help ..

Mike

There is a tutorial at the site snipercountry.com. Google it up & you should see it. I'm more of a replacement guy, though I did have one or 2 that adjusted O.K.. It's worth a shot for you.

I purchased a Holland's Gunsmithing Rem 700 trigger spring from MidwayUSA for small money. I chose to have someone install it for me as I am not that skilled. I have been happy with the spring and it lowered the pull from 6lb+ to about 3 or so.

This may be an option for you.
