I recently purchased a rem 5r in .308 with the 20" threaded barrel. I measured the o.d. of the barrel at .865 and would like to put a muzzle brake on for target shooting but take it off while hunting. Are there any muzzle brakes that are a direct fit without gunsmithing and if so what do you guys recommend?
