Reloading the 300 saum

I just recently purchased a Ruger M77 Mii chambered for 300 rsaum. There really isn't much out there as far as reloading information on it. What I was wondering is, is there anybody out there who has had some experience reloading this cartridge and what seems to work for you. Thanks for your time.

I have only worked with a few loads so far in a Sendero SF 300SAUM. 178Amax over R22, 168CTNBTs over H380, and 165NBTs over both H4350 and IMR4350 have all shot fairly well.

Here are 3 quick 3 shot groups back to back at 100 with 3 loads:

I'm sure it will work quite well with many more. It's been a very easy cart to work with.

I load for two 300SAUMs both Rem M7. Here are a few that work for me.

165 Barnes tsx R-17 64 gr. fed 215

150 Barnes tsx R-17 65 gr. fed 215

150 Hornady IB Varget 58 gr. fed 210

180 Rem CL IMR4007 58 gr. fed 210

These loads shoot very well in both rifles. The R-17 are MAX for me so do your own work up..
