Now that I have your attention. I'm looking for a neat and slick looking way to attach and remove a press to and from the bench. Also has to be sturdy. I was thinking of machining a base plate out of aluminum with a beveled slide in shoe. Thanks for any ideas or pictures.

Its not 'slick lookin' but its quick and sturdy. I mount my presses to a doubled up 2x6 and then just C-clamp it wherever I need it on one of my work benches. When I'm not using them, they're put away and the workbench is clear/clean for other tasks. They also travel well that way and can be used anywhere.
