BUILD ONE!
For the average guy who has some skills but doesn't own or know how to operate a lathe and mill. It's very rewarding to build/assemble a Savage semi custom. I built it for out west hunting and was successful in shooting a lope @ 450 off a back pack and Muley @ 125 off hand. It's a good feeling.

It's at the Escanaba, MI @ the fairgrounds. No idea on yote furs. I can Ask my Partner he traps. Reason we're going to set up booth for our custom call company. We'll be check the show out when we can get away.

I'll put it on my Calendar can't say for sure, but I'd sure like to attend.
Waiting on a call to hunt yotes 260 Acres+.

Let me know if you hear anything on fur prices, if there the same as last year it'll be worth going out Dec - March.

I think I have a bit more incentive for making it up to the U.P..

I've been talking to a guy about 37 Acres and now looks like the best time to move on it, in a great location surrounded by Paper land on a Dead end road.

Already talked with the neighbors sound like great folks, old family from that area, road named after them,lol.

I'm getting things set up in my shop to start making calls along with other things.

I use 54 gr of H4831SC with 115 gr Bergers. The velocity is right at 3050 fps. My barrel is only 24" long so you can expect more velocity out of the 28" barrel!
