Can anyone help me with a good start to reloading a 200gr Accubond in a Sendero 300 rum, I currently have Retumbo power, Federal 215 primers... how about COAL? Is this a more forgiving round for say where as the COAL doesn't seems play much of a factor as I have read about bergers?

Just helped a buddy with this exact same load. Id start at 92gr and work up from there. OAL between 3.60 and 3.65 is where Id start.

I ran the 200 gr accubonds for the last few yeasr in my custom 300 RUM. Used 91 gr of RL-25 fed 215 primer, for 3175 fps. OAL is 3.765" with a wyatt's mag box. Barrel is 27" Lilja.

After seeing Broz's report last winter on the 230 hybrid I switched to this bullet and a moderate load with H1000 for vel of 2860. It surpasses the accubond's downrange performance. I am certain it will do just fine with on my elk hunt this year.

I've been using the hornady 225 in my 30 rum with 98-102 grains of rl50. 98 fits well and will net 2870 fps at moderate pressure. 102 will do 3000 fps flat in a 26" factory barrel, but at 3.650" mag length it is a good bit compressed. At 3.75" it would probably fit well.
I'm still waiting on rl33 as that should up the ante on the performance of the 7stw and the 30 rum by a good bit.

My hunting partner is running a Model 70 300 RUM and is restricted to just under 3.6" for his rifle. I would start around 92 grains and work up to 95 grains and see what comes out for you. He is getting MOA or better at 94.5 grains with F215's and Nosler cases, at 3150 for speed. That is a heckuva hunting round with that much bullet headed downrange.
